If you haven't already embraced anklets, now is the time to start. Known as ankle chains, anklets or ankle bracelets, they are all the same thing and something you should be adding to your jewellery wardrobe. No longer reserved for gap years, the anklet is here to stay and we've got plenty to help you with whatever vibe you want to create.
Charm Anklets
Charm anklets are a more statement route when styling ankles, and one we love with any shoe. Pearl charm anklets are a great way of combining two trends that aren’t going anywhere soon. Pearl anklets are at their best when paired with a heel (or barefoot on the beach, obviously) and are proving to be a chic venture into anklets. For a more playful charm approach to anklets, you can try our word anklets, with ‘Angel’ or ‘Luck’ on your ankles, you don’t need anything else.
Chain Anklets
Chain anklets are a fuss-free approach, easy to style and can be worn with any shoe. A good place to start if you’re not sure you’d like something on your ankle, or if you want to add more than one then a chain anklet works as a perfect base to stack up from. You can try different style chains and find a thinner chain (such as our Figaro) easy to work into your wardrobe or a thicker chain (try our curb chains) surprisingly flattering.
Layering Anklets
If you like what an anklet brings to your outfit then you’re ready to layer them up. Like we said above, a chain anklet is a good place to start for a base anklet to work with, but we’d recommend mixing the styles so it doesn’t feel too loaded up and you lose your ankles. A chain mixed with a charm anklet is a cute route to take, try our pearl drop anklet with a curb chain anklet.
Minimalist Anklets
A thin glint of silver or gold on an ankle is a fun addition to any outfit, ideal for the minimalists. A simple chain anklet like our herringbone works well for minimalism or our twisted serpentine anklet, easy to wear with any outfit and subtle enough that it doesn’t feel out of place for any occasion.
