Sterling Silver (925) is like the superhero of metals—tough, shiny, and is unlikely to tarnish, making it perfect for everyday wear. Sterling Silver is made from 92.5% pure silver. Why do we use Sterling Silver instead of pure silver (99.9%)? Pure silver is too soft for most jewellery, which is why the alloy is added to strengthen it. There will be a tiny 925 stamp on our silver jewellery.
Keep It Bright
Sterling Silver is perfect for daily wear, it is durable and bright. There are some easy ways to keep your jewellery looking brighter for longer.
- Invest in a scratch-free polishing cloth. These will brighten up any pieces that have become dull over time.
- Avoid contact with harsh chemicals, take off jewellery before you start your beauty regime.
- Take off before swimming. Chlorine in pools can be abrasive, as can salt in the sea - it's always best to remove items first.
